GameBot Joins BEYOND EXPO 2026 to Discuss How AI Is Expanding the Future of Game Creation

June 1, 2026

Macao, China — On May 29, GameBot took part in BEYOND EXPO 2026 as part of the Future of Play Forum. Encore Zhou, VP of Technology at GameBot, joined the panel "How AI Will Change the Future of Creativity and Play" to share the company's perspective on AI in games.

The session brought together voices from across games, art, and design to discuss how AI is reshaping creative workflows, lowering the barriers to creation, and opening up new possibilities for interactive entertainment. As games become an increasingly important medium for exploring how humans and AI interact, much of the conversation came back to a single question: how can new technology support creativity without taking human vision out of the driver's seat?

Lowering the Barriers to Creation

Zhou focused much of his contribution on how AI is making game development, prototyping, and experimentation more accessible.

As AI tools cut down on production friction, more creators can test ideas, build prototypes, and try out new forms of play faster than ever. But Zhou was careful to add a caveat: the deeper value of AI isn't simply making creation easier for everyone. Its lasting impact, he argued, lies in helping genuinely creative people express their judgment and taste more fully — so they can build better games.

AI for Real Gameplay Experiences

That view reflects what GameBot has focused on from the start: building game AI agents for real gameplay scenarios.

Through its work on game bots and AI NPCs, GameBot helps developers create player experiences that feel more intelligent and more immersive. The point isn't to replace creators or players, but to give both the creative process and the gameplay itself a dependable layer of support.

Exploring the Future of Play

As AI keeps advancing, GameBot believes the future of game creation won't be decided by more powerful tools alone. It will come down to stronger creative direction and better experience design — the parts that still belong to people.

GameBot looks forward to working with more developers and creative teams to explore what AI can make possible for the next generation of games.
